Neoprene swimming trunks - Recommendations

Neoprene swimming trunks give you several benefits when swimming in water - both indoors in the pool, and in open water. Compared to the normal swimming trunks, they are surface treated, and don't suck in the water and get wet, like the typical swimming trunks do.

In addition to this, a pair of neoprene swimming trunks consists of a thicker layer of neoprene, which also gives you a unique buoyancy. This helps lift the hip region and keep it on the surface of the water, making your leg kicks more effective in terms of propulsion. This is particularly beneficial for triathletes and newer swimmers, who typically have their hips and legs under the surface of the water, giving a very ineffective swimming position.

Apart from the buoyancy, one of the natural benefits is also that they provide warmth, meaning they can also be used under a wetsuit for open water swimming, to maintain the best body position

You can use your neoprene on top of your swimming trucks, or go without swimming trunks entirely.
