Are the reviews of Watery genuine?

Yes. And here is exactly how we ensure that:

Only real buyers. A review can only be written by someone who has placed an order with us. You can't just land on the page and write a review of a product you haven't actually held in your hands.
Everyone is asked. The invitation is sent out after every purchase.

This is the most common theme in the reviews. All orders are packed at our own warehouse in Horsens, Denmark - the same evening your order comes in. And we choose the fastest shipping providers we can find, no matter where the package is going, so you get your items as quickly as possible.

Watery was started by a former elite swimmer, and the people in customer service swim, dive, and winter bathe themselves. That's why you get a concrete answer and advice when you ask, for example, if a pair of goggles fits a narrow face or similar questions.

What customers criticize Watery for

Like all other webshops, we also receive criticism. Here are the three recurring issues and what we are doing about them:

Delivery times during peak season

This is the criticism we receive most often during busy periods. During the busiest times, you may experience extra delivery time - simply because so many people want to grab the same great deals at the same time.
We are continuously expanding our facilities and getting better and better at keeping up with the high demand.
But we'd rather be upfront than make empty promises - which is why we also make it clear on the website if we are extra busy.

Sizes that don't fit

Swimwear and wetsuits fit differently from brand to brand, and that affects people - which is unavoidable. That's why we use our customers' feedback to constantly adjust our size guides on each individual product.
So over time, our size recommendations become more and more accurate.

If you still get the wrong size, you can exchange it without any hassle - quickly and easily, with 365 days of free exchanges for another size or color.

The return process can feel a bit tedious

We don't have a physical store you can walk into with the item, and for some, that's a disadvantage. On the other hand, everything takes place in our return portal: you register the return, get the label online, and drop off the package.
If you need help, customer service will guide you through it over the phone, via chat, or email.
