    When will my package be delivered?

    If there's one thing that's close to our hearts at Watery, it's fast and secure delivery.

    In 99.3% of cases, it's delivered the next day when ordered before our daily pickup deadline. We're quite proud of that (yes, we believe we're almost as fast at swimming your package to you as Michael Phelps is at completing a 200m butterfly)

    Before you order, you can always easily find the expected delivery day on the product page, in the cart, or during payment. The day we anticipate, we actually meet in 98.2% of our orders.

    To give you an overview, you can follow these guidelines where we have packages picked up

    Delivery with An Post:
    - Home delivery to the door: Order before 7 PM on weekdays = Expected delivery 3-5 days.

    You can always use the provided tracking number to track the package - you will receive it via email shortly after we have finished packing your order. Refer to the question “Can I track my package?” to find out where your package is located.

    Unfortunately, human errors do occur - both on our end and with our chosen carriers. It's frustrating every time, but hard to avoid 100%. On our side, it might be because we made an inventory error and thus don't have the item in stock after all, while for our carriers, it might be due to them being exceptionally busy or having lost the package. Check the question “You haven't shipped my package yet” if you haven't received a shipping email from us, and see the question “My package hasn't moved for several days on the tracking link” if you have received the tracking link, but nothing has happened with it yet.

    My package hasn't moved for several days on the tracking link (+2 days)?

    If you have received the shipping email with the message that your order has been packed, along with the tracking link, then in most cases, your package has been handed over to the carrier the same day. Refer to “When will my package be delivered” to see the pickup times for the different carriers.

    But sometimes we have to admit that they aren't as fast as us in getting your package all the way to you, resulting in delays - or, to put it bluntly, in rare cases, they have lost your package.

    Follow the procedure below if your tracking link shows that it's been several business days since your package has moved.

    1. The tracking on the link will only display once the package arrives at their terminal, not when they pick it up from us.

    2. If the carriers are especially busy, in some cases, it might take up to 2 business days before the tracking link shows the first update. Unfortunately, we don't have control over this, but we continuously ensure that they adhere to our quality agreements.

    3. Next, check your order confirmation that you received via email right after placing the order, and see if the correct address is specified for the order. Is the address 100% accurate?

    4. If it seems like your package is stuck and has been so for more than 2 business days, please contact us and mention if there was any error with your address or if everything looks correct. Our amazing support department will then assist you within a few hours, or at most 24 hours. If the package is lost, we'll send you a new one right away.

    5. After that, we will, in collaboration with the carrier, initiate an investigation to find the missing package. It's typically found at a depot and then returned to us – but by that time, you would have already received your new package ;)

    You haven't shipped my package yet?

    If you've placed an order but haven't yet received a shipping email informing you that your order has been packed and containing a tracking link, then one of these two reasons might be the cause:

    1. We haven't packed your order yet - Within 24 hours of ordering
    We pack all our orders every day regardless of the carrier - every day of the year. If you've placed your order within the last 24 hours, it might simply be because we haven't reached your order in the pile yet. But don't worry: We'll get to it and there's likely no issue, so just wait a bit.

    2. We made an inventory error - Over 24 hours from ordering

    If more than 24 hours have passed since you placed your order and you still haven't received a notification that it's been shipped, it might unfortunately be due to an inventory error on one or more of the products you ordered. We deeply apologize for this. However, when it's people like you and me who receive the goods, count them, and pack the orders, errors can occasionally occur. We hope you understand this, even though it only happens in 0.3% of our orders.

    If this is the case with your order, our warehouse team will try to contact you by phone or email the day after your order to find a solution with you - either by offering a different product or by just shipping what we have in stock. If we can't reach you, we'll try again the next day. If we still can't contact you, we'll send what we have in stock and remove the missing items from the order, ensuring you still receive your package as quickly as possible. Thus, none of our orders remain unprocessed for more than 48 hours.

    How can I track my package?

    You received your tracking number for your order in the "Your-package-has-been-shipped" email.

    It looks like this:

    Please be aware that depending on your chosen delivery method, it can take up to 48 hours before your package is registered with the distributor, so you might not always be able to track it immediately.

    The tracking link will only display information once it's scanned at the shipping provider's terminal, not when it's picked up from us.

    If you have your tracking number, you can easily and quickly track your package with your chosen carrier.

    Who will my order be shipped with (delivery methods)?

    Speed and delivery reliability are crucial for us at Watery and our customers (everyone hates missing the swimming shoes in the suitcase when heading south because the package got lost... yep, we've experienced that ourselves too).

    But with so many happy customers, unfortunately, we can't deliver the orders personally even though we'd like to, so we rely on the well-known postal and distributor services.

    And as the next best option (besides ourselves), you can choose at Watery how you want your package delivered.

    This provider have been a longstanding partner with Watery and ensure quick and safe delivery in most instances.

    Depending on the volume and weight of the order, there might be a free delivery option. The exact shipping fee will be visible at checkout.

    I have received a damaged product / my package is damaged?

    If you could see us right now, we'd be banging our heads on the table.

    It's just never a good experience for you as a customer. And especially frustrating when we otherwise check the quality of the products we send out from the warehouse - each and every one.

    (Fortunately, it happens in very few cases, so you don't need to worry about our heads.)

    But again, let's resolve it quickly - fast and easy for you (and of course, at no cost to you).

    It only requires 1 step for you (and we'll take care of the rest).

    1. Please send an email to us at support@watery.ie, where you specify what is damaged/defective/smashed, along with a picture of the product and packaging.

    2. We will respond to this email within 2 hours during our business hours with a message about sending the affected products again if approved and whether we require you to send the affected products back to us (this will be the case with products with a sales price over 25€).

    You can have the new (and hopefully 100% intact) product(s) within one or two days. It's our way of saying sorry in a hurry."

    1. Retrieve your free return code/return label here and prepare the package for shipment by writing the 9-digit DAO return code on the outside of the package.

    I am missing an item in my shipment?

    The worst thing that can happen when you were just looking forward to it. We are incredibly sorry about it. But yes, even though we have a large inventory with fast-swimming warehouse staff, mistakes happen in a small number of cases. We hope for your understanding.

    But of course, we need to get it resolved quickly - that's what we're known for.

    Just send an email to us or give us a call with your order number, the name of the missing product, and if you're extra helpful and want to speed up the process, include a picture of the delivery (so we can see if it's the courier's handling of the packages that opened it and let the product fall out).

    We will then promptly send the missing item to you without further delay. So you could have the missing product as early as tomorrow :)

    Internally, we will, of course, investigate what might have caused the error so we can avoid it in the future.

    Can I still cancel or modify my order?

    We're known in the industry for lightning-fast shipping. If you hit us right, it can be within minutes - almost as fast as Michael Phelps swam his 100m butterfly world record.

    Unfortunately, it also means that the window of time in which we can cancel or modify your order is relatively small. But hurry and contact us as soon as possible, and hopefully, we can make it happen before our warehouse packs and ships it to you.

    Please be aware that once you have received the email 'Your package from Watery.ie has begun its swim to you!', it's unfortunately no longer possible. It's often already picked up by the parcel distributor and on its way to you.

    If we have already packed and shipped your package, you can always return the order after receiving it. We'll do it just the way you want.

    Which countries do you ship to?

    At Watery.ie, the primary destination for orders is Ireland.

    Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, and more. The delivery price here is 20EUR.. 

    We currently do not ship to Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and the United Kingdom, as well as countries outside of Europe. However, we are continuously working on adding more shipping countries.

    How is my order packaged?

    Nothing is closer to our hearts than ensuring your package arrives safely!

    Depending on the items you've purchased, they will be either packaged in a bubble envelope or a cardboard box filled with packing material. This ensures that your items arrive in pristine condition.

    We do everything we can to ensure your items arrive safely and protected.
