Therefore, you will also be able to find aquashorts and trunks that are very similar, but they are the same as square swim trunks.

Look after your square swim trunks with the right maintenance

Because square swim trunks work just as well on the beach as the pool, they will also be exposed to both salt and chlorine water. In general this can be pretty rough on the fabric that swimwear is made of, which also includes aquashorts and trunks. So if you don't maintain them correctly, over time the fabric will loosen and soften, to the fact that it will eventually break.

Fortunately, there is a solution for this, and with a few simple general guidelines to remember, you will be able to keep your square swim trunks for a long time:

• Rinse in cold fresh water after each use.
• Don't wring them dry, since it will wear the fabrics, and the swim trunks will eventually tear.
• Don't put swim wear in the dryer, but let dem air dry instead - preferably outside in the shade.
• Avoid washing them in the washing machine - not all swim trunks can handle this.
