How to take care of your inflatable SUP board

Like many other recreational equipment, proper cleaning after each use is essential to prolong their durability. That's why we'll also provide you with the most important cleaning tips to help you take the best possible care of your inflatable SUP board.

• It is essential to rinse your board in fresh water after each use. Especially if it's been in salt water, as salt can be hard on materials. The same goes for seawater, which can cause algae to grow on your board
• Remove algae, dirt, and debris from the board, which can either be done with a cloth or by gently scrubbing it off. Do not use scouring pads or anything metal to scrub it off, as they will cut through the material and cause the board to leak
• If you have cleaned your board with soap, rinse it off. We also recommend using a small amount of soap, but not harsh cleaning products such as bleach. Instead, use a little Rodalon if your board needs a deep clean
• Your paddleboard must be completely dry before packing it up. Of course, you don't have to stand on the beach and wait until the table is completely bone dry. Just remember to take it out of your bag when you get home and make sure it's completely dry before you put it away for storage

In the unfortunate event that your inflatable SUP board gets a small hole and leaks, our inflatable SUP boards come with a repair kit. This applies to both small holes and more serious damage.

Remember the right equipment

You should always have a life jacket or a swim vest with you when you go out on your SUP board. It's a legal requirement in Ireland, so to avoid an unpleasant conversation with the police, you need to take it with you
