Is there a difference in pumps for SUP?

The only downside is that it pumps up to 16 PSI, whereas with a manual pump you can fill your SUP board with up to 20 PSI. In addition, you don't get the body heat in the same way as with a manual SUP pump.

Therefore, a manual pump is a great tool for warming up before heading out on the open water. It takes 5-10 minutes to inflate a SUP board, and after the small warm-up, you're ready to paddle out.
