  Whether you've swum in chlorinated or saltwater, you should rinse your swim trunks thoroughly in cold, clean water – preferably right after use. This removes chlorine residues, salt, and dirt and significantly extends the fabric's lifespan.
• Let them air dry – never in the sun or dryer
  High heat (from the sun or machines) can ruin the elastic and wear on the colors. Instead, hang your swim trunks to dry in the shade and preferably flat, so they don't lose shape.
• Don't lend them out
