When you get home from the water

When you receive your package with your new long swim shorts, you just need to remember a few pieces of advice. If you follow these - and the instructions that are in the swim shorts, you can have your swim shorts for many years.

The manufacturers have fulfilled their part of the bargain, in terms of choosing the right materials, and the best fit in terms of seams, stitches and edges, and now you must do yours. Be sure to take care of your swim shorts.

In this case it's all about what you do with them when you get home from the water or the pool. You must rinse them in clean water from the tap - preferably cold, so that you rinse away the salt, chlorine or dirt. Beach sand may be soft to walk on at the beach, but when it comes into contact with clothing, it acts like sandpaper and will tear your swimming trunks to shreds if not removed.
