These Fastskin Paddles were developed in collaboration with some of the world’s best swimmers, their coaches, sports scientists, and global hydrodynamic experts to create the ultimate pair of hand paddles. A major advantage of these Speedo Fastskin Paddles is that they can be effectively used for freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke, unlike "normal" finger and hand paddles.

The way to swim with them is to insert the entire hand, including the thumb, into the paddle, then slide the index finger through the strap in the middle, while the two plates on top hold the hand in place.
