This is especially true if they are to be used in swimming training, where the length of the fins is very important. The short ones are always recommended for actual swimming training. If the fins are too long, you risk overloading the muscle groups and cramping up quickly. In addition, short fins are also preferable in the pool when turning with them, as this exercise can quickly become clumsy if the fins are too long.
