Swim net - Recommendations

A swim net is necessary for transporting your swim gear to and from the pool. 

Unlike the swim bag, the net is open with holes in it. This provides more ventilation, which is why it is recommended to keep your swim gear in it, as it is typically wet after use and therefore needs to be ventilated and not enclosed. This also allows water to easily seep out.

When choosing a swim net, you can either

• A simple swim net with only one large compartment. Often the cheapest option and also the most commonly used
• A more expanded version with small compartments on the outside of the net itself. This type can often replace the swim bag if you don't have a lot of gear to and from the pool. This is often the case for recreational and young swimmers

However, all swim nets will clip into the carabiners of a swim mask, which is an advantage if it lacks a separate compartment for wet swimwear and swim gear. In addition, most swim nets are very spacious, which means they can accommodate all the necessary swim gear: swim feet, swim board, pullbouy, finger paddles, centre snorkel, etc.
