Swim nappies - Recommendations
Most indoor and outdoor pools requires that toddlers and babies must wear a leak-free swim nappy or so-called jammers. Apart from this, it can also just be a very unfortunate situation, if the accident should happen while the kid is in the ocean. Because of this, we always recommend that kids, up to at least the age of 3, wears one.
These swim nappies have an integrated diaper and close-fitting openings around the waist and thighs, making them 100% leakproof, and this is even without a separate swim nappy. Apart from this they are also odourless, and has an absorbing effect that collects everything.
Another part to this, is that swim nappies can be reused - unlike the single-use swim nappies, which is both more environmentally friendly, and easier to deal with. You can, however, make the changing situation a bit easier and spare the swim nappies a little with a liner.
When it comes to washing the swim nappies, the best and easiest way is to wash them in hand and then let them air-dry. Certain models can be machine washed on a gentle wash program like wool or delicates - we do however recommend, that you always follow the washing instructions. After this, they just need to air-dry. Be careful with wringing them, because this will overstretch the fibres and make them looser, so they won’t fit as snugly any more.
