Watery nearsighted swimming goggles with prescription for kids - (-1.5) – (-7.0) - Baffin - Black

We’ve listened to you, and we’re delighted to introduce our all-time best-selling swimming goggles, now available with prescription lenses for children. They’re a true must-have for any nearsighted child who wants the most comfortable swimming goggles on the market—and the clear underwater vision that prescription lenses provide. Baffin is available in prescription strengths from -1.5 to -7.0, giving your child just what they need.

Children often have these problems with their swimming goggles:

• Water leaks into the goggles.
• They feel uncomfortable and start to irritate after just a few minutes of swimming.

• They cover the whole face, fog up, are difficult to adjust, and the lenses get scratched (okay, that’s more than one problem).

After extensive in-water testing before launch—and with feedback from more than 10,000 swimmers around the world who use Baffin every day—Baffin is designed to help your child avoid these common frustrations.

Here’s what makes Baffin special

• Premium silicone eye cups with a unique seal

The Baffin eye cups—the parts that sit against your child’s eyes—are made from especially soft, flexible premium silicone. They create a unique seal around the eyes.
You can easily try the usual fit test with your child: Place the goggles over their eyes without using the straps, and they’ll stay in place.
This means the straps don’t need to be tightened much, helping to prevent red marks. Your child can swim in the goggles for a long time without even noticing they’re wearing them.

• 3D-fitted eye cups for boys and girls.
The size and shape of the eye cups have been refined through multiple 3D tests involving more than 150 swimmers. They’re designed to fit a wider range of face shapes for both boys and girls, helping keep water out of the goggles.
The eye cups sit around the eyes, rather than inside them or right up against them.

• Durable polycarbonate prescription lenses with 100% UV protection
Baffin features high-quality lenses in your chosen prescription strength. They provide 100% eye protection from harmful UV rays and sunlight, while giving your child a crystal-clear view of the underwater world in natural colors. That means a comfortable swim, with good sun protection and a clear view at all times. Baffin is ideal for indoor swimming, as well as open water and the beach. The lenses are made from polycarbonate, an exceptionally strong material that resists breaking and changing shape.

• Always 100% anti-fog treated
The lenses also feature built-in anti-fog technology. Your child simply needs to dip the goggles in water before use to activate it, helping them enjoy a clear view while swimming without worrying about fogging. The specially 3D-fitted eye cups also help prevent condensation inside the goggles.
• Adjustable, anti-slip double straps
The straps can be easily adjusted on both sides of the Baffin, so the goggles will continue to fit as your child grows.
The split strap design lets you position them comfortably at the back of the head, helping the goggles stay securely in place.
Anti-slip grips on the straps help keep them from slipping down or coming off while swimming.

• Unrestricted 180-degree field of vision
Baffin features curved, high-definition lenses that provide the widest possible 180-degree view to either side, helping your child stay fully aware of their surroundings underwater. The high-definition lenses also keep vision sharp right out to the edges, despite the wide field of view. With ordinary goggles, vision is only sharp in the center of the lens—when looking straight ahead.
• Soft, flexible nose bridge
Most nose bridges between the two lenses are made of plastic. Baffin instead features a soft, flexible, ergonomically shaped silicone nose bridge. It won’t chafe or press against the nose and flexes with the natural movements made while swimming.

And that’s not all: Baffin comes with a completely free, breathable microfiber bag where your child can store the swimming goggles before and after use. It helps prevent scratches on the lenses and allows them to dry quickly.
