Unfortunately, your hair and scalp can be damaged by repeated exposure to chlorinated water from the swimming pool or salt water from the beach, and this Anti-chlorine Shampoo counteracts this particularly effectively. Based on Sodium Laureth Sulfate, the shampoo removes the chlorine/salt from the hair and scalp and prevents dandruff and dry scalp, which is an otherwise natural reaction from the chlorine and salt. Most frequent beach-goers or swimmers have experienced a tendency for their hair and scalp to dry out, start to smell of chlorine/salt, get a greenish tint and become brittle on all sides after being in chlorinated water at the swimming pool or salt water at the beach for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, this happens naturally as the chlorine and salt from the water settles into the scalp and wraps a layer around each hair tip, removing the hair's natural ability to breathe and restore itself. 

While using our Reef Anti Chlorine Conditioner adds softness and moisture back to the hair and replaces the smell of chlorine/salt in the hair with citrus, this Shampoo should be used before the Conditioner, where it directly removes and releases the layer of chlorine and salt that builds up around the hair tips and scalp, preventing the hair from becoming itchy or drying out. The shampoo has a cleansing and preventive effect that comes from the mild and effective soaps, such as Decyl Glucoside and Sodium Laureth Sulfate, both of which are special surface substances that counteract the chlorine/salt.

Because of this, this shampoo is also particularly strong against chlorine and salt, making it ideal for frequent swimmers and/or beachgoers of all ages and abilities. 

In addition, unlike other options on the market, Reef Anti-Chlorine Shampoo has no added fragrance or colorants, so you get a pure shampoo that appears white and smells refreshingly neutral.

Reef Anti-Chlorine Shampoo should be applied in an appropriate layer to the hair inside the shower before applying conditioner, left for 1-2 minutes to work in and then rinsed out with warm/lukewarm water.

The shampoo's composition of oils has been selected by dermatologists based on our own problems with bad odor and itchy scalp from chlorine as former professional swimmers and is already of great use to 1000's of swimmers and beach-goers around the world. It is developed in Denmark and then produced in Denmark.

How to use the Shampoo: 

1. Apply an appropriate amount of the shampoo evenly throughout the hair while in the shower
   
2. Leave in for 1-2 minutes afterwards
   
3. Wash out under warm / lukewarm water
