The Speedo LZR Pure Valor 2.0 is made for competitive swimmers taking on longer distances or multiple events, giving you the perfect balance of support, freedom of movement, and comfort. This suit is lightweight, flexible, and built to help you perform at your best—from start to finish.
The Valor 2.0 is based on Speedo’s most thoroughly tested competition technology, combining an updated fit with even better water resistance. The result is a suit that feels fast, natural, and comfortable—race after race. It supports your key muscle groups without feeling too tight, so you can move freely whether you’re swimming butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, or freestyle.
Why swimmers choose the LZR Pure Valor 2.0
- Moderate compression for support, without restricting your movement
- Ultra-light, flexible fabric for maximum comfort over longer distances
- Long-lasting Lamoral® Space Tech coating that makes the suit even more water-repellent
- Bonded seams to reduce drag and give you a smooth, streamlined fit
- Strategically placed texture zones that control water flow and help you swim faster
Valor vs. Intent vs. Ignite
Speedo has three different competition series, each made for specific needs and swim styles.
-
LZR Pure Valor 2.0 is the most versatile. It's the perfect choice if you swim middle- or long-distance and need both support and flexibility.
-
LZR Pure Intent 2.0 is the most compressive and powerful model—ideal if you’re a sprinter and want maximum stability and explosive speed.
-
LZR Ignite is the most comfortable and forgiving of the three—perfect for training and racing when you still want to feel fast.
How to care for your competition swimwear
Competition swimsuits and swim shorts are technical garments with bonded seams and applied logos. They last longest and keep their fit and compression when you treat them gently:
-
Rinse straight away in cold, clean water after every use—even after chlorine or saltwater. Don’t wait until you get home.
-
Hand wash only. Never use a washing machine or dryer. Heat, spinning, and friction will damage the fabric, seams, and logos.
-
Use a mild soap or a detergent made for swimwear. Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.
-
Never wring out your suit. Gently press the water out instead.
-
Lay flat to dry in the shade, away from the sun, radiators, or any heat source.
-
Don’t leave your suit wet in a bag or wrapped in a towel—trapped heat and chemicals wear down the fabric.
-
Avoid rough surfaces like pool edges and tiles—they can snag the seams and logos.
With the LZR Pure Valor 2.0, you get a race suit that delivers world-class speed, flexibility, and durability. It's designed to give you confidence, support, and balance in the water—so you can crush your best swim every time you step onto the starting block.
