The swim goggles that the world-famous Michael Phelps wore when he won eight Olympic gold medals have just been enhanced further - the result is this Fastskin Speedsocket 2 Mirror.

It has the same familiar fit but now offers a wider field of view, which is made possible by its curved shape. In addition, the goggles come with mirror lenses, which means that the light is reduced, which is why you get a darker view, which many competitive swimmers enjoy. Finally, it has a double strap which ensures that it sits firmly and comfortably.

The swim goggles sit super tight around the eyes and have a silicone edge which may be too hard for some. However, this means that you can keep the water out of the lenses as well as possible.

The SpeedSocket 2 Mirror can be set so that it has a good fit. They are easy to put on so they don't shut in water. Unfortunately, they put deep marks on the face, which only disappears once I have massaged them for 5 min.
