Valor vs. Intent vs. Ignite
Speedo’s three top models are each made for a specific type of swimmer.
-
LZR Pure Valor 2.0 is the most versatile. It’s perfect if you swim multiple strokes or longer distances and want the right balance between support and freedom to move.
-
LZR Pure Intent 2.0 is built for sprinters. With a tighter fit and stronger compression, it gives you maximum power and stability for short, explosive events.
-
LZR Ignite is the most forgiving style—a great choice if you want a tech suit that’s easier to put on and works well for both training and races.
With LZR Pure Valor 2.0, you get swim trunks that give you everything you need to swim fast and efficiently—without compromising on comfort. Combining Speedo's best technology with a natural feel in the water, they're a smart choice if you want to get the most out of every lap.
How to care for your competition swimwear
Competition swimsuits and swim trunks are technical gear with bonded seams and applied logos. Take care of them gently to keep them fitting well and holding their compression for longer:
-
Rinse right away in cold, clean water after every swim—even after swimming in chlorine or salt water. Don't wait until you get home.
-
Hand wash only. Never use a washing machine or tumble dryer. Heat, spinning, and rubbing can break down the fabric and loosen seams and logos.
-
Use mild soap or detergent made for swimwear. Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.
-
Never wring your swimwear. Gently press out the water instead.
-
Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight, radiators, or other heat sources.
-
Don’t leave it wet in your bag or rolled up in a towel—this keeps heat and chemicals trapped, which wears down the fabric.
-
Avoid rough surfaces like pool edges or tiles, which can pull at seams and logos.
