What is the difference between this and a standard wetsuit?

The main difference is the "UltraStretch" neoprene. While a cheap standard suit can feel a bit stiff, the SEAC Feel-S is incredibly soft and elastic. This means you exert less effort to move, and it's much easier to put on.
What temperature is it suitable for?

It is designed for "temperate waters" (+20°C). This makes it perfect for diving vacations down south, snorkeling in the Mediterranean, or the Nordic summer when the water is warm.
Can it be used for freediving?

Yes, it is actually very suitable for freediving. Because it is so flexible, it does not restrict your breathing or your fin kicks, which is crucial when holding your breath underwater.
Are the knees protected?

Yes, the knees are often the area that wears out first. That's why SEAC has reinforced them with "Powertex", a highly durable material that protects the neoprene if you kneel on a rock or the bottom.
How should it fit?

It should fit very snugly – like a second layer of skin. It's important that there are no air pockets, as they prevent proper insulation. Thanks to the super stretchy material, it will feel comfortable even though it fits tightly.
Do the seams irritate the skin?

No. The suit is sewn with "Flatlock" technology. This means the seams lie flat against the neoprene instead of sticking out. This significantly reduces the risk of red marks and chafing.

Maintenance

Rinse wetsuits in cold water after each use to remove salt and chlorine residues.
Use a small amount of pH-neutral soap if needed to preserve the properties of neoprene.
Allow wetsuits to dry completely inside and out before storage, avoiding direct sunlight.
Store wetsuits hanging from the middle on a hanger to prevent creases and damage to the neoprene.
