Whether you're at your safety stop, hanging at a deco stop, or have drifted a bit away from the boat, the vibrant red color and a height of 117 cm ensure you are visible—even in high waves and from long distances.

Via the mouth (oral inflator).
By connecting your BCD hose (inflator hose) to the valve.

Questions & answers

How do I inflate it underwater?

You have several options. For most people, the easiest is to use your octopus (backup regulator) and blow air into the bottom of the buoy. You can also attach your inflator hose to the valve, or inflate it by mouth at the surface.
Can it burst if I send it up from the depths?

No, it features a safety overpressure valve. As air expands on the way to the surface, the valve automatically releases any excess, ensuring the buoy stays intact and fully inflated.
Why is there lead at the bottom?

The integrated lead acts as ballast, keeping the buoy upright in the water. This makes it stand much taller and easier for the boat operator to spot compared to a buoy lying flat.
Is it only for emergencies?

No, it's mainly used as a routine marker to show your position during your safety stop or decompression stop. It signals to the boat that you are okay and where to pick you up.
Is it difficult to pack up again?

It couldn’t be easier. Just deflate the air, roll it up from the top down, and secure it with the attached velcro strap.
