This is our top-selling swimsuit for new competitive swimmers who are just starting or unsure if it's the right fit for them. Here’s why:
1. It’s 100% FINA approved.
The ST. Dame NEXT swimsuit is a genuine racing swimsuit, approved by FINA for use in all Danish and international swimming competitions.
2. Excellent support without being too tight
Many new or younger swimmers prefer not to wear a suit that's too tight. This one strikes the perfect balance. Designed for beginners but suitable for competition, it fits close to the body to provide great muscle support while still allowing free movement.
3. Makes you swim and feel faster
With this Arena racing swimsuit, you’ll feel like you're gliding through the water compared to your previous non-racing swimsuit. You might even achieve a new personal best!
This is largely because the suit is highly water-repellent, allowing water to simply slide off.
4. Eye-catching design
You can’t resist this color, and it appeals to many. You’ll definitely stand out on the starting block at your next meet.
In essence, this is the best beginner racing swimsuit for many since it’s relatively affordable compared to more expensive alternatives. It allows you to experience a snug fit and noticeably reduced water resistance.

How to Care for Your Racing Swimwear
Racing swimsuits and swim trunks are technical garments with welded seams and applied labels. They last longer and maintain fit and compression when treated gently:
-
Rinse immediately in cold, clean water after each use — even after swimming in chlorine or saltwater. Don’t wait until you get home.
-
Hand wash only. Never use a washing machine or dryer. Heat, spinning, and friction break down fibers and loosen seams and labels.
-
Use mild soap or detergent suitable for swimwear. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
-
Never wring the garment. Gently press out the water.
-
Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight, radiators, and other heat sources.
-
Don’t leave the garment wet in a bag or wrapped in a towel — it traps heat and chemicals that wear down the material.
-
Avoid rough surfaces like pool edges and tiles that can snag seams and labels.
Arena ST NEXT is:
- Like a regular training suit, but water-repellent = beginner racing swimsuit.
