This is our best-selling swimsuit for new competitive swimmers who are just starting out or still unsure if it's the right fit for them. Here's why:
1. It's 100% FINA approved.
The ST. Woman NEXT swimsuit is a true racing swimsuit, approved by FINA for use in all Danish and international swim meets.
2. Great support without being too tight
Many new or younger swimmers prefer their swimsuits not to be overly tight. This one strikes the perfect balance. It’s a beginner’s suit, still designed for competition, providing snug support to your muscles while allowing free movement.
3. Makes you swim and feel faster
With this Arena Women's racing swimsuit, you'll feel like you’re flying through the water compared to your previous non-competitive swimsuit. This could likely lead to a couple of new personal records.
The suit is highly water-repellent, meaning water just rolls right off.
4. The coolest design
The color is irresistible and appeals to many. You’ll look sharp on the starting block at your next meet.
Overall, this is the best beginner racing swimsuit for many because it’s relatively affordable compared to pricier alternatives, allowing you to experience how the suit fits snugly and reduces water resistance.

How to care for your competitive swimwear
Racing swimsuits and swim trunks are technical garments with welded seams and applied logos. They last longer and retain their fit and compression when handled with care:
-
Rinse immediately in cold, clean water after each use – even after exposure to chlorine and saltwater. Don’t wait until you get home.
-
Hand wash only. Never use a washing machine or dryer. Heat, spinning, and friction break down fibers and loosen seams and logos.
-
Use mild soap or detergent designed for swimwear. Avoid bleach and fabric softener.
-
Never wring the garment. Gently press out excess water.
-
Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sun, radiators, and other heat sources.
-
Don’t leave it wet in a bag or wrapped in a towel—retaining heat and chemicals that can damage the material.
-
Avoid rough surfaces like pool edges and tiles, which can snag seams and logos.
Arena St NEXT is:
- Like a regular training swimsuit, just water-repellent = beginner racing swimsuit.
