How to Care for Your Competition Swimwear

Competition swimsuits and jammers are technical gear with bonded seams and applied logos. They last longer and keep their fit and compression when treated with care:

• Rinse right away in cold, clean water after every use—even after swimming in chlorinated or saltwater. Don't wait until you get home.
• Hand wash only. Never use a washing machine or dryer. Heat, spinning, and rubbing break down fibers and loosen seams and logos.
• Use mild soap or swimwear detergent. Stay away from bleach and fabric softeners.
