Looking for a first racing swimsuit for your daughter? The Arena ST Junior NEXT in red is just what you need!
This is our top-selling swimsuit for beginner competitive swimmers who are just getting started or aren't sure if they’re fully committed yet. Here’s why:
1. Fully FINA Approved.
The ST Junior NEXT swimsuit is a true competitive swimsuit, approved by FINA for all Danish and international swim meets.
2. Supportive without being too tight
Many young swimmers prefer a swimsuit that isn't overly tight, and this one delivers. As a beginner's suit that's still competition-ready, it fits snugly to support muscles yet allows for free movement.
3. Makes your girl swim faster and feel faster
With this Arena Junior racing swimsuit, your daughter will feel like she's flying through the water compared to her previous non-competition swimsuit. It might even help her set a new personal best or two as a direct result.
This is largely because the swimsuit is highly water-repellent. You can pour water on it, and it simply slides off.
4. Stylish design
The striking red color is irresistible and suits many girls' tastes. She'll definitely look sharp on the starting block at her next meet.
Overall, this is the ideal beginner racing swimsuit for many, as it’s relatively affordable compared to more expensive alternatives. It lets her experience a bit of compression and offers reduced water resistance.

How to Care for Your Racing Swimwear
Racing swimsuits and swim trunks are technical garments with welded seams and applied labels. They last longer and maintain their fit and compression when handled gently:
-
Rinse immediately in cold, clean water after each use, even after chlorine and saltwater exposure. Don’t wait until you get home.
-
Hand wash only. Never use a washing machine or dryer. Heat, spinning, and friction break down fibers and loosen seams and labels.
-
Use mild soap or detergent meant for swimwear. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
-
Never wring out the garment. Gently press the water out.
-
Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sun, radiators, and other heat sources.
-
Do not leave it wet in a bag or rolled up in a towel—it traps heat and chemicals that wear down the material.
-
Avoid rough surfaces such as pool edges and tiles that can snag seams and labels.
With Arena racing swimsuits, size can also vary depending on the level of compression you prefer. Consider this if you’re between sizes.
Arena ST NEXT is:
- Like a regular training suit, but water-repellent = beginner racing swimsuit.
