General Fit Tips

Trying on a wetsuit dry always feels tighter than in water. Neoprene expands a bit and gets more flexible when wet.

As a rule of thumb, the suit should feel like pants that are just one size too small—they fit, but you’d think they might rip if you sat down fast. You need full mobility and should be able to zip up the suit without trouble. It should never restrict your breathing—if it does, it’s too small for you.

About our size guides: All measurements are taken with the suit lying flat and unstretched. Wetsuits loosen with use and in water, and they mould to your body as you swim. So, pick the size closest to your measurements.

How to put your suit on:

1. Open the front zipper all the way.
2. Put on the legs one at a time, making sure it fits snugly at the crotch.
3. Slowly pull the suit up over your hips and stomach.
4. Slide your arms into the long sleeves and adjust the panels over your shoulders.
5. Zip up the front and check that the suit sits smoothly and perfectly on your skin.
