The tail is made from a combination of polyester and cotton, which makes the fabric resistant to chlorine/salt and particularly flexible around the lower body. In addition, an elastic band has been added at the top to ensure a snug fit up to the waist. At the bottom you'll find buttons to close the fabric around the monofin.

When you buy our mermaid tail costume, we recommend that you buy the accompanying Fin Fun monofin for kids if you don't already have it. Please note that the Fin Fun monofin fits costumes in the following sizes: 130, 140 & 150.

Washing instructions for fabric:

• Wash at 30° or lower
  
• Do not tumble dry
  
• Iron on low heat only
  
• Do not use highly concentrated detergent containing chloride. Otherwise, the beautiful colours may fade

How to put on your kid's mermaid tail:

It's super easy to put on the mermaid tail. This is especially easy as we have incorporated buttons into the fabric part. In fact, it only requires two steps.

1. Place your feet firmly in the monofin
2. Pull the fabric part over the monofin and upwards on yourself. The fabric should wrap around the belly, butt, and hips

Then your kid is ready to jump in the water and swim.

Precautions when using the Watery mermaid tail:

The monofin is extremely durable, but it is recommended that children do not stand on the monofin itself as there is a risk of it breaking. This is also true for the fabric part, which can wear and tear from standing and walking on it.
