Looking for a first racing swimsuit for your daughter? Then the green and navy Arena ST Junior NEXT could be just what you need. This is by far our best-selling swimsuit for new competitive swimmers who are just getting started or aren’t yet sure whether competitive swimming is for them. Here’s why:
1. It’s 100% FINA-approved.
The ST. Junior NEXT is a genuine racing swimsuit, approved by FINA for use at all Danish and international swimming competitions.
2. Great support without feeling too tight
Many new or younger swimmers prefer not to have a swimsuit that feels too tight. This one won’t. It’s designed for beginners, but it’s still made for competition. It fits close to the body and supports the muscles while allowing plenty of freedom to move.
3. Helps your daughter swim and feel faster
In this Arena Junior racing swimsuit, your daughter will feel as if she’s flying through the water compared with the non-competition swimsuit she’s probably been swimming in until now. It may even help her achieve an extra personal best or two.
That’s because this swimsuit is highly water-repellent: pour water onto it, and it will run right off.
A standout design
The green and navy color combination is hard to resist and is sure to appeal to many girls. She’ll look sharp on the starting block at her next competition.
At the end of the day, this is the ideal beginner racing swimsuit for many swimmers. It’s relatively affordable compared with the more expensive alternatives, and it lets your daughter experience how a racing swimsuit fits snugly and helps reduce drag in the water.

How to care for your racing swimwear
Racing swimsuits and swim trunks are technical garments with welded seams and applied labels. They last longer and retain their fit and compression when handled with care:
-
Rinse immediately in cold, clean water after every use — including after swimming in chlorinated or salt water. Don’t wait until you get home.
-
Hand-wash only. Never use a washing machine or tumble dryer. Heat, spinning and rubbing can damage the fibers and loosen seams and applied labels.
-
Use mild soap or detergent made for swimwear. Avoid bleach and fabric softener.
-
Never wring out the garment. Gently press out the water.
-
Lay flat to dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight, radiators and other heat sources.
-
Don’t leave the garment wet in a bag or rolled up in a towel — heat and chemicals can become trapped and wear down the material.
-
Avoid rough surfaces such as pool edges and tiles, which can snag seams and labels.
Arena racing swimsuits can also vary in fit depending on how much compression you want. Keep this in mind if you’re between sizes.
Arena ST NEXT is:
- Like a regular training swimsuit, but water-repellent — a beginner racing swimsuit.
