How to Care for Your Competition Swimwear

Competition swimsuits and jammers are technical gear with welded seams and applied labels. They last longest and keep their fit and compression when you treat them gently:

• Rinse straight away in cold, clean water after every use—even after swimming in chlorine or saltwater. Don’t wait until you get home.
• Hand wash only. Never use a washing machine or dryer. Heat, spinning, and rubbing break down the fibers and damage the seams and labels.
• Use mild soap or detergent made for swimwear. Skip the bleach and softener.
• Never wring out your swimsuit. Just gently press the water out.
• Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight, radiators, and other heat sources.
