Accessories for swim goggles - Recommendations
Swim goggles are by and in itself obviously an important part in every scenario from competitive swimming, to exercise swimming to just splashing around. But they can quickly become useless, if you don’t have the right accessories for them. This is precisely why you shouldn’t just buy a pair of swim goggles, without also having the remedies to maintain and store them correctly.
The right accessories can make most swim goggles feel brand new again. Over time, most swim goggles will lose their antifogging effect, which makes them more or less useless, since your vision becomes impaired by fog. This can however be fixed, with various antifog products, that are easy to use, and help your goggles regain the antifog effect, as if they were brand new!
Similarly, scratched lenses can also make a pair of swim goggles quite difficult to use, since several scratches (or in some cases, just one) can distort your vision. This is part of the reason we recommend that you always store and transport your swim goggles in a case.
Lastly, you can get so unlucky that the straps break - especially after a long period of use. That means that you are now left with a pair of useless swim goggles, but luckily it’s easy to fix them with swim goggle elastic bands.
